Martina is amazing! She was such a lovely presence to have in the room that morning and we were all delighted with our hair! Mine lasted for days after too, which was great for all the post-wedding celebrations!

If I could leave ten stars, I would. As an American bride being married in Ireland, finding the right hair stylist for my wedding was daunting. Thank goodness I found Martina. Not only did she do my hair for my wedding day, but she did my hair for my rehearsal dinner the day before and the farewell breakfast the day after. She also helped me find my make-up artist, who was also incredible, before we even met! To say she was a professional was an absolute understatement. Martina scheduled my hair trial as soon as I arrived in Ireland and went through every style I had in mind to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. She did the most beautiful up-dos for all of my wedding events and worked beautifully with everyone. When I had to re-do the seating chart for 80 people the day before the wedding (yes, that happened), Martina jumped in to help. She assisted with my veil, my dress, and my nerves. I cannot recommend her enough. I wish she lived in New York so that I could work with her for other events. Maybe someday! In the meantime, if Martina is free for your wedding or event date, book her! She can’t be beat.

Martina was incredibly kind and professional to deal with from start to finish. She completely put me at ease the morning of my wedding and couldn’t have been more helpful. Martina is so much more than a hair stylist, she is someone who will jump in and help wherever needs be and I couldn’t recommend her more! She really looked after me, my bridesmaids and my mum. Martina is most definitely the best of the best when it comes to bridal hair. From the moment I booked with her, I knew I had made the right decision. She spent time giving advice in the lead up to the wedding, advising on how to prep my hair in order for it to stay for the day.

I changed my mind on my hair a few days before the wedding and it was no issue at all, Martina was on hand for any questions and help. On the day itself she was incredible- she completely put me at ease and went above and beyond helping with my train and putting on my veil. Ensuring every final detail was perfect up until the moment I left for the church. My bridesmaids were also thrilled with their hair. I can not say enough good things about Martina!! She is fantastic, so quick, calming and talented! She did a half up half down on me, updos for my bridal party and a blowdry for my mam, all her work was excellent! Everyone was very happy and everyone’s hair still looked perfect into the early hours after all the dancing .I found Martina on Instagram , as a hairdresser myself I thought am I mad going with a stylist I have never tried before but I couldn’t have been happier with my decision. I got engaged right before COVID and our wedding was pushed back a whole year. The idea of planning my wedding from California in Ireland during a pandemic was overwhelming but working with Martina was so easy and made all my worries go away. Martina communicated with me and made sure she knew what I wanted on the day that by the time it was the wedding morning I felt like I knew her. Martina was incredible throughout the entire process in my hair trial and on my wedding day. I was so nervous about making decisions when it came to my hair but every concern I had Martina put at ease. Martina did a beautiful job and I was over the moon with the results. Martina was very professional and responsive throughout the planning process. As an international bride she was flexible with me when I was scheduling a trial when I was in Ireland. She really listened to what I was wanting and made it a reality. On the wedding morning she arrived early and got right to work. She blended in seamlessly with my bridesmaids and my mom and mother-in-law. A variety of hair styles and hair types all looked fabulous when Martina was done with us. Martina went above and beyond for me; she really gave 110%. From the makeup trial to the wedding day she was an absolute professional. At the same time she was warm, friendly and calm, which is a big help on the wedding day! She was able to replicate my suggested pictures for a hairstyle perfectly and we really relied on her advice and experience regarding veils and hairstyles. At no point in the entire day did my hair in any way unravel or come out of its style. I would completely and fully recommend her to any bride for their special day!

You’re in safe and talented hands with Martina! She was such a calming presence on my wedding day and showed incredible patience when I changed my mind half way through my braided style! She also managed to find those few pesky greys that had appeared due to Covid stress and eliminated them mercilessly! Martina did my hair for my wedding last Saturday. She is an incredible hair stylist and not only does she do great hair but she is also like having a friend around. She was so helpful on the day and her extensive wedding experience was really clear as she saved the day when my mum was having difficulty doing up my dress. Nothing was any trouble and Martina also did the hair of my 5 bridesmaids and mother in law. Despite so many people, Martina worked quickly and we weren’t under any time pressure. I was so happy to have her part of our squad and higly recommend her to anyone!

From the minute I met Martina at my trial, I could tell that she is not only extremely good at her job but also that she was someone I wanted around on the morning of my wedding. That morning I was very nervous and Martina’s calm presence and kind words were invaluable. I had an upstyle with a headpiece and it was exactly what I wanted and stayed in place all day and all night. My now husband and I did a “first look” before the ceremony and not only was this very emotional for me but I managed to step in mud and the bottom of my dress was covered in mud!! Where do I start with Martina, she was the best decision I made for the whole wedding. The minute I booked her, everything was easy and professional. Martina had me at ease from the first time I met her at our hair trial. She is so down to earth and so easy to get along with.
During the trial I showed her a few ideas I had and she worked with me to create a beautiful look. I felt I was under no time pressure and had good fun throughout the trial with Martina. On the morning of my wedding day I changed my mind on the hairstyle. This wasn’t a problem for Martina, once again we discussed the new hairstyle and Martina created exactly what I wanted and I loved it.
Martina has so much experience in her trade, not only did she do 5 hairstyles that day she also helped us sort out the flowers, put on the button holes, get into the bridal car and calm all the nerves in the house. She was a Wonder Woman and I can’t recommend her enough.

WOW is all I can say about Martina – who did my hair, my 2 bridesmaids and my mum for my wedding 16 November 2019 at Boynehill House. From the first contact Martina was lovely, real and professional: to my trial through to the big day itself – my hair was more than amazing, it was perfect and better than I imagined. Martina knew exactly what I wanted and I loved, loved, loved the finished hairstyle. My 2 bridesmaids were over the moon with their upstyles which were both different but suited them perfectly. We felt absolutely amazing! Martina didn’t only do our hair but kept the calm amongst the panic when getting into our dresses – if it weren’t for Martina I don’t think I’d have got out of the house!! I booked Martina for my wedding in June 2019. Martina was so professional from the moment we booked her. We had a very detailed hair trial and I left so happy knowing my hair was going to be perfect on the day.

Booking Martina was one of the best decisions I made for the day of my wedding. My three sisters and I have the thickest hair which always gets comments from hairdressers, so for my wedding I was extremely conscious of time and if a hairdresser could get us all done. I had absolutely nothing to worry about. From the very moment I contacted Martina she was a dream to work with. She had us all so relaxed on the morning of the wedding and gave such care and attention to all of our hairstyles and we were ready with nearly an hour to spare! I could not believe it! Martina was an amazing hair stylist for a perfect wedding day! I was so thankful to be surrounded by warm and talented hair and make up artists for our elopement to Ireland. It was a busy morning with 6 hairs in total to do! I was nervous as I wanted my hair down on the day and was afraid that the volume would drop as the day went on, Martina was meticulous on the morning and my hair didn’t budge, I even got the next day out of it! The bridesmaids’ hairs were incredible with the styles complimenting them and their dresses beautifully. As if doing everyone’s hair wasn’t enough, Martina took the time to put the buttonholes on my dad and brothers and even helped me into and buttoned my own dress. The professionalism of Martina is second to none. The way in which she was able to complete the looks she did while being so personable and friendly is an absolute talent! Martina was such a great choice for my wedding! I live in London, which made planning difficult, but Martina was so accommodating, arranging trials and getting everything sorted. She was absolutely brilliant on the morning of the wedding, so fun and easy to get along with, she even created a great atmosphere with a fun playlist while we got ready (which I had completely forgotten about!). I was so happy with my hairstyle as well, it stayed in place all day and all night, and I got so many compliments on it! Martina is so talented at what she does, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

Martina was my savior for my wedding. The lady who was going to do my hair and makeup told me just one week before the wedding day that she wouldn’t be able to do it… I had to search for a hair stylist in a hurry and Martina was great since I called her and all the way through to the time I had to leave for my big day!

Martina did a stunning job on everyone’s hair and we were so thrilled with the way everything came out during my August 2018 wedding. And my own hair,,, just wow! Despite the fact that I had no time for a trial run since I arrived in Ireland just a few days before my wedding, she could see exactly what I wanted and make me look and feel beautiful. Martina did hair for myself and my four bridesmaids for my wedding on Saturday . I could not recommend her enough . She is amazing at what she does and is so talented . I decided to change my hair style after my trial but wasn’t 100percent and Martina assured me on the day if I didn’t like my hair up I could change , she always leaves enough time . This was really reassuring . In the end I loved the first style anyway . She stayed with me right up until I got into the car for the church. Martina is such a talented hair stylist, I was so happy with everything from initial contact to the day of my wedding. I could not thank her enough for everything she did for me and the bridal party on the day. I was nervous finding a stylist from abroad but when I contacted Martina, she made me feel at ease immediately. She was so friendly and welcoming during the hair trial. On the day, she arrived early to start and helped me with so much during the hectic preparations, from answering the door, pouring drinks and managed 10 of us for hairstyles from updo’s to the placing of my veil. I honestly could not have done the morning madness without her, she was great to have around, kept me calm and I wanted her to join in the rest of the day with us. Let me start by saying not only is Martina a very talented hair stylist but she is an amazing person. In the run up to the wedding she answered every random email and query I had with such patience and kindness( and I had a lot!!) On the day she showed up with a big smile on her face (and offered to come early!) and when she wasn’t helping us she answered phones and doors and poured drinks, she really went above and beyond what anyone could expect! My Mum usually does her ownhair so I was a bit nervous about what would be the right style for her but Martina did an amazing job and spent lots of time chatting to her and helping her choose . When it came to me I had a last minute change of mind on the day and Martina really helped me achieve exactly what I wanted. I had a hair band and a veil that needed to be put in with pins, I don’t know how she did it but she secured them both so unbelievably well with not one pin showing and I kept the hair band in all night as a result which I was delighted about . If you are considering booking Martina don’t think twice, just do it! Xx

Martina is absolutley brilliant!! She done my hair, the bridesmaids, flower girl and Mother of the bride last week and all were fabulous. I knew from meeting Martina at the trial that she was going to be excellent. She made me feel so comfortable and knew exactly what would suit my hair and the others in the bridal party. Everyones hair lasted well into the night even after losts of dancing. Had lovely curls the next day also. She was a pleasure on the morning of the wedding and very friendly and chatty. Loved having her do my hair and so glad that I chose her. I hope to have another occasion in the near future where I can book Martina again.

Martina did the hair for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding last month. I knew from my trial that I was in great hands.
